1. General Provisions
1.1. All Expanse game servers are free to access. The Project is maintained, supported, and developed by the Administration using its own resources and funds received from Users. Funds received through voluntary support and purchases of additional features may be used, among other things, to develop server infrastructure, improve game content, and enhance the overall quality of the Service.
1.2. These Rules must be reviewed and followed by all Expanse Users. By registering an account, the User confirms acceptance of these Rules in full. Failure to read or understand individual provisions does not exempt the User from responsibility for violating them.
1.3. These Rules apply to all game servers, the official website, Discord, social media channels, support services, and other official Expanse information resources.
1.4. The Administration may amend, supplement, and update these Rules. Unless otherwise stated, a revised version becomes effective upon publication on official Expanse resources.
1.5. The penalties specified in these Rules are guidelines. The Administration may determine the final sanction based on the seriousness of the violation, its consequences, repeated misconduct, and other relevant circumstances.
1.6. Accounts and characters that have not been used for more than 90 days may be removed as part of technical maintenance and infrastructure optimization without individual prior notice, unless otherwise provided by the current Expanse policies.
1.7. In the event of a serious or repeated violation of the Rules, sanctions may be applied to all accounts associated with the User, not only to the account directly used in the violation.
2. Project Administration
2.1. The Administration does not guarantee permanent access to the server for every individual User or group of Users and is not responsible for temporary or permanent inability to access the Service unless otherwise expressly required by applicable law.
2.2. Where justified by a violation of the Rules, Project security concerns, technical risks, or the need to protect the interests of Users, the Administration may restrict or terminate access to Expanse for a specific account, User, device, IP address, or network.
2.3. In the event of technical failures, the Administration will take reasonable measures to restore normal operation of the Services as soon as reasonably possible.
2.4. Accounts, characters, game items, in-game currency, and other virtual objects form part of the Expanse infrastructure and functionality. Users are granted the right to use them within the gameplay environment.
2.5. The Administration is not required to restore items, accounts, characters, statistics, or other virtual assets lost by a User. Restoration may be considered on an individual basis.
2.6. The Administration may modify the server concept, game balance, mechanics, item characteristics, classes, skills, rewards, and other elements of gameplay.
2.7. The Administration may temporarily restrict access to the servers for the period necessary to carry out maintenance, updates, preventive work, or troubleshooting.
2.8. Users must comply with these Rules and with lawful and reasonable instructions issued by representatives of the Administration in connection with operation of the Project.
2.9. Where such functionality is available within Expanse, the Administration may allow a User to replace an imposed sanction with a paid account unlock. Eligibility and the applicable cost are determined individually by the Administration. Payment may be deducted from the User’s account balance.
3. Interaction with the Administration
3.1. The composition of the Expanse team and the authority of its representatives are determined by Project management. The administrative team may include Admin, Head GM, Game Master, Community Manager, Support, Partner Curator, and other authorized representatives.
3.2. Communications with the Administration must be relevant and relate to the Project, gameplay issues, technical matters, or violations of the Rules. The Administration may decline to respond to requests that contain no specific question, abuse communication channels, or are unrelated to Expanse.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
3.3. Insulting, degrading, or deliberately provocative behavior toward representatives of the Administration is prohibited.
Possible penalty: from communication restrictions to suspension of related accounts.
3.4. Threats of any kind toward representatives of the Administration are prohibited both in-game and on official Expanse information resources.
Possible penalty: suspension of related accounts and restriction of access to official resources.
3.5. Users may not intentionally interfere with the work of representatives of the Administration or obstruct investigations, technical inspections, events, or other official activities.

3.6. The User may appeal a decision through the support channels provided by the Project. However, public pressure, repeated conflicts with the Administration, or attempts to interfere with enforcement of a sanction may be treated as a separate violation.
3.7. Users may not knowingly provide false information, fabricated evidence, or otherwise intentionally mislead representatives of the Administration.

3.8. Users may not publish internal or confidential correspondence with the Administration without prior approval where such correspondence contains personal data, internal information, investigation materials, or other restricted content.

3.9. Public discussion of an imposed penalty for the purpose of pressuring the Administration or organizing a campaign against the decision is prohibited. Appeals must be submitted through official support channels.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
3.10. Knowingly spreading false information, defamatory claims, or deliberate misinformation regarding Expanse or its Administration is prohibited. Constructive criticism and good-faith expressions of opinion are not violations in themselves.
4. User Rights and Responsibilities
4.1. The account owner is responsible for all actions performed through the account, regardless of who actually controlled the account at the time of the violation.
4.2. Users are responsible for ensuring that computers and other devices used to access Expanse do not contain or run software prohibited under these Rules.
4.3. If a User believes that another player has violated the Rules, they may submit a report to Support and provide evidence, including screenshots, video recordings, correspondence, and other relevant materials.
4.4. In the event of technical questions, disputes, or the need to report a violation, the User must contact Expanse through the official support channels published on the website or other official Project resources.
5. Gameplay
5.1. Users may not use software, modifications, devices, or other tools that automate gameplay, simulate User presence, interfere with operation of the game client or server, or provide an advantage not intended by standard gameplay mechanics.
Violations may include modification or deletion of client files, use of unauthorized alternative clients, interference with communication between the client and server, and other methods of artificially simplifying gameplay.
Possible penalty: suspension of all related accounts.
5.2. Users may not use macros, programmable mice, keyboards, or other third-party software to automatically return a character to a game position, automate movement, execute abilities in sequence, or perform other actions without direct User participation.
Only exceptions expressly permitted by the Administration or supported by standard game client functionality are allowed.
Possible penalty: from temporary character restrictions to suspension of all related accounts.
5.3. Unauthorized access to another User’s account is prohibited.
Possible penalty: suspension of all related accounts of the offender.
5.4. Users may not steal virtual assets through deception, abuse of trust, unauthorized access, or breach of a documented agreement.
Where correspondence exists regarding temporary transfer of items, currency, or other assets, the User may contact Support. Messages in game chats and other available materials may be considered as evidence by the Administration.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
5.5. Users may not participate in real-money trading or any other exchange of in-game assets for value outside Expanse (RMT — Real Money Trading).
RMT means any direct or indirect transfer, sale, provision, exchange, or delegation of in-game assets, data, capabilities, or activities in exchange for compensation existing outside the official Expanse Services.
Such compensation may include real-world currency, cryptocurrency, goods, property, services, external digital currency, or any other tangible or intangible value.
Users may not only directly participate in RMT transactions, but also act as intermediaries, advertise them, seek buyers or sellers, facilitate the transfer of assets, or otherwise assist in such activity.
RMT includes, in particular, offers to sell, purchase, or receive compensation for:
- game accounts;
- characters;
- in-game currency;
- in-game services, including leveling, farming, or other activities performed in exchange for external compensation;
- in-game items, resources, and other virtual assets.
Advertising, offering, organizing, or discussing RMT transactions is prohibited both within Expanse and on third-party resources where such activity relates to Expanse game assets or services.
If a User’s participation in RMT activity is confirmed, the Administration may restrict or permanently suspend the User’s accounts, remove virtual assets, and apply any other measures considered necessary.
Possible penalty: from removal of virtual assets associated with the violation to suspension of all related accounts.
5.6. Unauthorized exchange of items, currency, and other virtual assets between different Expanse servers is prohibited unless such functionality is expressly supported by the game mechanics or Project rules.
Offering or discussing such transactions may also constitute a violation.
Possible penalty: from removal of the relevant virtual assets to permanent suspension of the associated accounts.
5.7. Organized mass killing of players across different locations within a short period is prohibited where the activity is clearly intended not as normal gameplay conflict but to artificially reduce server population, obstruct normal gameplay, or otherwise harm the Project.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
5.8. Users may not use multiple physical computers to simultaneously control multiple characters where such use provides an additional advantage over other Users during normal gameplay.
A violation may include, in particular, the simultaneous use of multiple computers for coordinated character control, farming, participation in PvP, acquisition of game resources, completion of gameplay activities, or other actions that allow the User to obtain an advantage through the use of multiple devices.
If such activity is detected, the User’s accounts may be temporarily or permanently suspended. The Administration may also conduct an additional investigation into related accounts, game transactions, trading activity, and movement of virtual assets in order to identify possible RMT activity, abuse of gameplay mechanics, or other violations of these Rules.
Possible penalty: suspension of related accounts and an additional review of the User’s activity.
6. Exploitation of Server Errors
6.1. Deliberate exploitation of bugs, technical errors, vulnerabilities, or incorrectly functioning game mechanics for the purpose of obtaining an advantage is prohibited.
Possible penalty: determined by the Administration based on the consequences of the violation.
6.2. A User who discovers a significant bug or technical defect must report it to Expanse Support within a reasonable period and must not exploit it for personal benefit.
6.3. Where an error is discovered, the Administration may take any measures necessary to eliminate or reverse its consequences, including:
- removal of items and in-game currency;
- adjustment of server parameters;
- modification of character statistics;
- review or cancellation of rewards;
- rollback of individual game operations;
- full or partial rollback of gameplay progress for individual Users or the entire server.
6.4. Users are responsible for reviewing published descriptions of the server concept, gameplay mechanics, and any additional rules applicable to specific game systems.
7. User Communication and In-Game Names
7.1. Insults, systematic harassment, and deliberately aggressive behavior toward other Users are prohibited in public game channels and on official Expanse information resources.
Private User-to-User correspondence is generally not moderated unless it involves threats, unlawful activity, fraud, or another serious violation.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
7.2. Genuine threats against other Users are prohibited where they clearly extend beyond normal gameplay conflict or role-playing interaction.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
7.3. Users may not disclose another User’s personal information without a valid basis, including their real name, residential address, photographs, contact details, or precise location.
A person’s own public disclosure of certain information may be taken into account by the Administration when reviewing a particular situation, but it does not give other Users an unrestricted right to misuse such information.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
7.4. Direct or indirect advertising of third-party game servers, online games, or other projects without prior approval from the Administration is prohibited.
Possible penalty: suspension of related accounts.
7.5. Advertising sexual services, pornographic resources, or other explicitly sexual content is prohibited.
Possible penalty: suspension of related accounts.
7.6. Racism, aggressive nationalism, incitement of ethnic or religious hostility, degrading statements based on origin or religion, including attempts to disguise such statements, are prohibited.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
7.7. Clan names, abbreviations, character names, titles, and other in-game identifiers may not contain severe insults, vulgar language, racist or nationalist content, or material insulting religious beliefs.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration, including forced renaming.
7.8. Users may not use identifiers such as GM, GameMaster, Administrator, Admin, names of Expanse team members, or other designations that may create a false impression that the User is affiliated with the Administration.
7.8.1. The Administration may reserve certain unique names for partners, public figures, holders of special statuses, or other participants in the Project. Use of a clearly reserved name by another User may be prohibited.
7.9. Users may not impersonate representatives of the Expanse Administration or persons officially authorized to act on behalf of the Project.
Possible penalty: suspension of related accounts.
7.10. Users may not act on behalf of Expanse as a guarantor or official intermediary in transactions between Users without express authorization.
Possible penalty: at the discretion of the Administration.
